Prescriptions
Medical Card patients can now use the on line facility to order repeat prescriptions.
Prescriptions can be ordered from 10:00am each morning Mon. to Fri.
All prescriptions will now be sent to your pharmacy. They CANNOT be collected at the surgery.
In order to process the large number of requests for repeat prescriptions each day please note that 48 hours notice is required
If you are visiting the doctor please ask for your repeat prescription at that time.
There is a €10 fee for repeat private scripts.
Medication Reviews
All patients are required to be reviewed by their prescribing doctor every six months before a repeat prescription will be issued.
Hospital Prescriptions
If you receive a hospital prescription it can normally be dispensed at your pharmacy for a period of one week prior to review by your GP.
Please present the prescription to your pharmacy on the day of issue and bring a copy to your GP.
